Departing from Athens, you will travel west along the scenic coast until you reach the stunning "archaeological feature" of the Corinth Canal where you will stop for a short time to take in the sights. A short drive brings you to the ancient town of Corinth, once one of the richest cities in the known world.

Here, you will get the chance to visit the remains of the huge "Agora" (marketplace) and Apollo's Temple. Ancient Corinth was the home of St. Paul the Apostle for 2 years and it was here that he wrote the 1st and 2nd Thessalonians (AD 52). Following your visit to Corinth, the tour will make a brief stop at the ancient port of Kenchreai before returning to Athens in time for lunch (not included).

Summary:

4 DAYS MINIMUM ADVANCE BOOKING REQUIRED. This tour offers hotel pick-up and drop offs. Children under 4 years participate free of charge but must share same coach seat with paying adult. Rates are per person and in US Dollars. Please reserve online or call 800-719-6365 for reservations or more information. There is a $3.95 processing fee per order. This is a flat fee regardless of the number of tickets or tours purchased on an order.
There is a service charge per ticket. This charge will be reflected on your summary before you checkout. The total shown includes any and all taxes, fuel surcharges, and service fees. There are no additional charges.

Cancellation Policy: All sales are final. There are no refunds.

Change Fee Policy: If changes are allowed on a tour or activity, a $20.00 per reservation change fee will be applied for any change to a reservation. Please note that some tours and activities do not allow any changes. Date changes can be made only if we can confirm availability on the new date. While we cannot guarantee any changes can be made, all change requests must be submitted a minimum of 24 hours prior to the tour departure and must be handled on an individual basis through our Reservations Center.

The ruins of Ancient Corinth are spread out at the foot of the huge rock of Acrocorinth. Ancient Corinth derived its prosperity from its position on the narrow isthmus between the Saronic and Corinthian gulfs. Transporting goods across the isthmus, even before the canal was built, provided the shortest route from the eastern Mediterranean to the Adriatic and Italy.
